Having collaborated closely with the Agriculture Panel of the World Bank, Rupasingha played a pivotal role in planning intercropping initiatives that combined spice crops and coffee with tea, thus promoting sustainable agricultural practices. His exposure to Scandinavian and European agriculture systems has enriched his expertise in environment-controlled agriculture, organic fruit and vegetable production, and animal husbandry.
